The Peace You Seek Comes From the Peace You Create
Where are things feeling hard, or causing anxiety or frustration for you when it comes to your health, your body, or your life?
Do you ever struggle with feeling constantly behind & you’re not doing enough?
Does not having time left over for yourself to exercise, meditate, or unwind frustrate you?
Is the fear that you will drop the ball and things will fall apart making you anxious?
This is important to look at not only for yourself, but also for your community, the country, the earth, and the world. Because how you feel on the inside informs what is going on around you, and what is going on around you informs how you feel on the inside.
If something is feeling challenging, you have a choice to make a change for the better.
And sometimes your choices can feel extreme - so much so that you find yourself pushing yourself to get it done, and end up feeling drained, and unfulfilled even though you accomplished it. What if rather than focusing on what you are DOING, you instead focused on what you are BEING.
If you really want to make sustainable change in your health, your body, your life, or the world around you, I want to encourage you to focus on who it is you’re being. That energy of who you are being will influence and inform how you feel within and also shift the environment around you.
Imagine you’re feeling peaceful inside and feel open and able to listen. This is a very different experience than being scattered or pulled in different directions, which makes it challenging to listen to others and leads you into a more reactionary state.
The peace you seek comes from the peace you create.
Taking time to balance and align with your physical energy, your emotional energy, and your spirit actually doesn’t have to take a lot of time. You don’t have to step out of being engaged in your life.
For example, one of my clients had previously thought:
“I have to do my hour of yoga every single day and eat healthy at every single meal” i.e., doing EVERYTHING to have positive result…
But it doesn’t have to be that way! Even 5 minutes of rest, mindful Pilates, an energy-shifting practice or breathing can make a huge difference. It’s the small pieces over a sustained time that truly help develop the mastery of aligning who you’re being and how you’re feeling.
Try it for yourself. Right now is a perfect time. Take the next 2 minutes to breathe, to fully release what is no longer serving you, and to take a moment to set an intention of what you wish to inspire in your life.
