Are You Feeling Drained This Week?

Being in Washington DC over the past week, I have heard from many clients and friends that they have experienced different levels of feeling drained emotionally, physically, and energetically.

No matter where you are in the world or what beliefs you stand for, I sense that this feeling of drain & depletion may be touching you too.

I can feel in my core that this is a vital time for each of us to take a moment to pause, reflect, and get clear on how to sustainably move forward.

If you want to make positive change however big or small in your life, your body, or the world, you are going to need something from within yourself to draw upon.

In a life that demands so much of us as women, it’s easy to spend all our time giving and not enough time receiving, which leaves us burnt out and with a feeling of lack. You may say YES too much when you really want to say NO, and as a result end up feeling drained & depleted.

Does this feel familiar?

Think of a part of your life, your body, family, work, or community that you feel you’ve neglected. Maybe you worry that you have been ignoring it & are disengaged. You may start to take action and get moving, check things off your list, participate, become involved, but you are left with a feeling that you haven’t done enough. In your core you feel guilt, weighed down by yet another thing that you feel is lacking & you're failing in your life. This leaves you feeling drained, exhausted, and depleted. And you find yourself again feeling a space in your life or your body that you are neglecting, ignoring, or disengaged from.

This is the cycle of depletion.

It’s a pattern that too many of us live with. It exhausts your energy and diminishes your feeling of value and power in your life. And it keeps your focus swirling around in your mind rather than really being in your body in your life.

We are at a time in our world where this cycle has become normalized and often celebrated. Social media, the news, public figures, celebrities are all contributing to make this cycle feel like a social norm.

Your happiness and strength in your life starts with how you relate to your body.

The world needs you as your most centered and grounded self. Your loved ones need you. You need you.

I've designed a workshop to help you break the cycle of depletion - juice up your ability to receive Pleasure, Abundance and Centeredness.
