There comes a time in every cycle of seasons, of monthly moons, of the day, of a project, of a relationship, of a breath, of your life, when it is important to release, honor the chapter that has been, and feel into the next chapter that awaits.
The fall offers us the perfect opportunity to do just that. As the natural world pulls back and turns inward, we also have a chance to relish in a sacred pause: to organize and re-assess, to reflect on what has come before and plan for what might come next, to take a deep breath and savor what’s in front of us right in this moment.
In a society that urges us to go, go, go, it can feel challenging to pause. And yet, that push to keep driving forward cultivates anxious energy in ourselves and in the collective. It is important for us to care for ourselves (and, by extension, the collective) so we can preserve our energy, take clear and powerful action when called, and savor the good in this moment.
The opportunity present is to call upon the power of fall so that we may slow down and take it ALL in while it’s still in front of us. This present moment is precious and deserves recognition.
From this space of stillness and reflection, we can prioritize what will help us feel resourced in the months (and years) to come. We can assess our capacity and determine what boundaries are most supportive. We can identify what we need to say no to so that we can say yes to what really matters.
And this is precisely what we can explore together at this Dynamic Core workshop.

ABOUT OUR FACILITATOR
Frances Darnell is a Pilates teacher and founder of Dynamic Core, which is devoted to helping women experience more strength, resilience, and confidence in the power and beauty of your whole self: mind, body, spirit. In her work, she integrates movement with mindfulness, energy work, Reiki, and coaching.
